Funeral services for Freda Rennich age 91 of Lemmon will be held at 10:30am, Saturday, February, 28, 2015 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Lemmon. Pastor Bob Edwards will officiate with burial in Greenhill Cemetery.

Special music will be provided by Marilyn Willey.


Serving as casketbearers are Wesley Rennich, Larry Schafer, Clinton Bender, Perry Bender, Ronald Rennich, and Norman Rennich.
A memorial has been established.

Freda Zeh was born on September 28, 1923 in Elgin, ND. She was a daughter of John and Magdelena (Brandner) Zeh. She grew up on the farm south of Elgin, graduating from Elgin High School.

On May 6, 1947, she was united in marriage to Henry Rennich of Elgin, ND, in Lemmon, making Lemmon their home. To this marriage two children were born; Wesley and Shirley. After their marriage through the years, she worked at Paronto's Bakery, a cook at Five Counties Nursing Home, and a cook at the Lemmon School until her retirement.

Freda passed away on Monday February 23, 2015 at Five Counties Nursing Home in Lemmon.

She is survived by one son Wesley Rennich, Huron, SD; one daughter and son-in-law Shirley and Larry Schafer, New Leipzig, ND; one brother and sister-in-law Ervin and Lillian Zeh, West Fargo, ND; one sister and brother-in-law, Ida and Charles Bender, Elgin, ND; two sisters-in-law Carol Zeh of Mound, MN and Alice Zeh of Loveland, CO; one brother-in-law Walter Rennich, Lemmon, SD, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Henry, brothers, Elmer, Ruben, and Art Zeh; sister, Lydia Viands, sisters-in-law, Beverly Zeh, Berniece Rennich, Martha Tietz, Ida Koepplin; brothers-in-law, Walter Viands, Ernest Tietz, and Jacob Koepplin; two nephews and one niece.

Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 to 7:00pm at the Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home in Lemmon.
