Funeral services for Frank A. Witte Jr., age 57, of McLaughlin, SD, will be held at 11:00 a.m. MT on Friday, July 17, 2015 at the Prince of Peace Chapel of the Evanson Jensen Funeral Home in Lemmon, SD with Rev. Derrick Jones officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. MT on Friday, at the St. John's Episcopal Cemetery in Bullhead, SD.

Frank Arthur Witte Jr. was born in Lemmon, SD, on March 5, 1958 to Frank A. Witte Sr. and Viola (CrowNecklace) Witte. He lived on the family farm near Meadow, SD and attended a rural country school. Frank lived most of life in South Dakota and Minnesota and worked many years as an over-the-road truck driver. He was proud to receive his GED from the South Dakota School of Mines in Rapid City, SD.

In Frank's free time he enjoyed fishing, and loved playing cards and listening to country music. He resided in McLaughlin, SD, until moving to Dickinson, ND when his health began to fail.
Frank passed away on Tuesday morning, July 14, 2015 at St. Benedict's Health Center in Dickinson, ND.

He is survived by two sons, Frank A. Witte III (Nikki Baer), Dickinson, ND and Lance A. Witte (Kristina Dekker) Dickinson, ND; two grandchildren, Ethan A. and Baylee A. Witte; and numerous friends, family and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Sr. & Viola Witte.
