The Funeral Service for Frank Arlyn "John" Kelsch, 75, lifetime Hettinger county Farmer, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Evanson Jensen Funeral Home in Mott,ND. Deacon David Crane will officiate with burial in the Sunnyslope Cemetery. Visitations will be from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at the Evanson Jensen Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.

FRANK ARLYN "JOHN" KELSCH was born June 2, 1934 to Frank and Esther L. (Gross) Kelsch. He was raised on the family farm near Bentley, ND. John graduated from Bentley elementary school. After that he farmed with his dad and brother, he also worked for other farmers. He served as assistant rural mail carrier for the Bentley Post Office and has also served on the Baer Township board since 1968.


John passed away on Sunday evening,January 17, 2010 at the West River Regional Medical Center in Hettinger,ND after a courageous battle with cancer.

He is survived by his brother, Ronald "Butch", his sisters, Aileen (Wilmer) Treichel and Janice Kelsch all of Mott, ND; nephews, Kurt (Laurie) Guenther, Colin (Lisa) Guenther and Eddy Dvorak; nieces, Lori (Trent) Eggers and Julie (Dick) Ficek; great nieces and nephews; Tyler Eggers, Brittany and Shaunda Dvorak, Jared, Brianne, Madeline, Matthew Guenther, and Easton Ficek.

Arlyn was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Esther Kelsch, sister, Karen Guenther, and niece Gina Dvorak.
