She was the 2nd oldest of 5 children. She grew up in Mott, ND where she attended school and then moved to Dickinson ND where she graduated from Dickinson High School in 1989.
Elaine moved to Hettinger ABLE home in 2002. While there she worked at Kennedys. In 2017, due to health reasons, she moved to her Dickinson ABLE home. Here she enjoyed taking the mail to the office and visiting with everyone at the office.
Elaine was a fun loving and caring daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Elaine enjoyed listening to country music and polka. She loved singing and was always up for some karaoke. She enjoyed going to concerts and got to see Willie Nelson, Martina McBride, and Blake Shelton in concert just to name a few. She also got to go to Nashville, TN to the Country Music Hall of Fame and always dreamed of going back. She was a big fan of Little House on the Prairie and got to take a trip to Desmet, SD to visit the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum and attend their pageant.
Visiting family and friends was always a highlight for Elaine. After she moved to Dickinson, she always looked forward to trips to Hettinger to see her friends and especially her brother, Randy, after he moved to Hettinger.
Elaine is survived by her 3 brothers, Thomas (Darlene) Wyman, New Hradec, ND; Randy Wyman, Hettinger, ND; Peter (Heather) Wyman, Lake Mills, WI; nephews Mason Wyman and Charles Wyman; niece Allyson Wyman; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
