Eileen Katherine Zimmerman was born on April 6, 1947 in Elgin, ND to Ted and Hilda (Roth) Zimmerman.  She was baptized and confirmed in the New Leipzig Congregational Church.  Eileen grew up 11 miles north of New Leipzig and attended a local country school, prior to graduating from New Leipzig High School in 1965.  She was a dental assistant, in Elgin, before working at the Bank of North Dakota in Bismarck.

Eileen married the love of her life, Ronald Will on June 7, 1968 in New Leipzig.  Eileen and Ron grew up 6 miles apart from each other and have known each their entire lives. They farmed and ranched together and raised two children, Lori and Bob.  They retired from farming in the Spring of 2008 and moved to Dickinson where they lived for ten years.  In the Fall of 2017, they moved to Minot to be closer to family.

Eileen passed from this life on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Trinity Hospital in Minot following complications from Leukemia.

Eileen and Ron were active at Ebenezer Church. While living in Dickinson and Minot, they attended the Methodist Church.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, making cookies, kuchen, and strudel.  She loved to shop for and decorate her home, especially for the holidays.  Eileen always enjoyed crafting, gardening, flower arranging, organizing, and traveling.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Ron, Minot, ND; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Jennifer Will, Minot, ND; daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Richard Izaguirre, Houston, TX; 6 grandchildren, Dakota, Keeley, Laney, Nicholas, Isaac, and Katherine; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, Milton and Sylvia Zimmerman, Plymouth, IN; Clifford and Arlene Zimmerman, Townsend, MT; Wilmer and Rosella Zimmerman, New Leipzig, ND; 2 sisters, Violet Schock, Elgin, ND; Nelda Kallis, New Leipzig, ND; brother-in-law, Alvin Kreis, Bismarck, ND; and numerous nieces and nephews.
