Funeral services for Edna Becker, 75, of Hettinger, ND will be Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the Hettinger Lutheran Church. Rev. Kathleen Dettmann will officiate and burial will follow at the Hettinger Cemetery. Visitations will be from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 14 at the Evanson Jensen Funeral Home in Hettinger and one hour prior to the funeral at the church on Saturday morning.

EDNA RIVINIUS was born on March 16, 1932 to Eduard and Christina Rivinius in Snow Township in McClean County, North Dakota. She married Robert J. Becker July 4, 1954 in Bismarck, N.D. They made their permanent home in Hettinger where they owned and operated West River Motors, Inc. Together they had four children.


Edna Becker passed away at the Western Horizons Care Center in Hettinger on Tuesday morning, March 11, 2008 with her family at her side.


She is survived by Marsha (Gene) Foss, Culbertson, MT, Brenda (Arden) Saunders, Hettinger, ND, Pamela (Kelly) Wolf, Waterloo, IA; step-daughter-in-law, Janice Becker, Bismarck, ND; five grandchildren, Christina (Mark) Kleinwaechter, Dickinson, ND, Dr. Robert (Dr. Brooke) Saunders, Rapid City, SD, William Norby, Minot, ND, Brock (Kerla Moore – fiancé) Wolf, New York City, NY, Jennifer Wolf, Louisville, KY; two step-grandchildren, Russell (Paula) Foss, Palm Springs, CA, Michelle Foss, Culbertson, MT, four great grandchildren, Kourtney and Jacob Kleinwaechter, Chase Kilzer Norby, and Lyra Saunders, one brother, Martin (LaVerne) Rivinius, Bismarck, ND and one sister, Erna Zimmerman, Kennewick, WA.


Her mother and father, her husband, Bob, one stepson, Robert L. Becker, one sister, Esther Christman, and one brother, Ben Rivinius, preceded her in death
