Dorothy Plocek, age 94 of Mott, formerly of Spearfish and Lemmon, passed from this life on Wednesday evening, January 7, 2009 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Center in Mott.

A Celebration of the Lives of Clarence and Dorothy Plocek will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2009 at the New Hope Worship Center in Lemmon.

Clarence passed away on August 23, 2008 and his cremains will be laid to rest with his wife Dorothy in Greenhill Cemetery at Lemmon.


Surviving family members include one son, David Plocek, Thunder Hawk, SD; 4 daughters, Betty (Marvin) Haase, Lemmon, SD; Joyce (Mike) Burk, Dallas, TX; Dorothy "Dottie" (Dennis) Neuharth, Mary Lou Ray, all of Summerfield, FL; 4 brothers, Albert (Helen) Fried, Mott, ND; Ted (Mary Ellen) Fried, Meadow, SD; Bert (Mildred) Fried, Sturgis, SD; Herb (Donna) Fried Shadehill, SD; 3 sisters, Bertha Cooper, Bison, SD; Lillian (Bob) Bohnet, Bismarck, ND; Ruth (Ken) Friez, Glendale, AZ; 1 brother-in-law, Charles Plocek, Spearfish, SD; 12 grandchildren, Jeff Haase, Jeralyn Keopal, JaRae Faul, Greg Haase, Darin Scott Haase, Jodi Friedel, Matt Burk, Angela Burk, Todd Burk, Roger Burk, Jill Neuharth, Dr. Kristen Neuharth; 17 great grandchildren, Amber Muth, Brittney Haase, Brant Haase, Zane Haase, Avery Haase, Courtney Haase, Caulen Haase, Averi Burk, Sarah Burk, Rylee Burk, Kristen Burk, Will Burk, Laura Burk, Maddie Scotti, George Scotti, Brady Faul, Bryce Faul; 1 great great granddaughter, Macy Jae Muth; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established to the Good Samaritan Nursing Center in Mott.
