DARYL ALAN BAESLER was born June 26, 1967 in Elgin, ND to LeRoy D. and Phyllis J. (Beck) Baesler. He attended New Leipzig High School. Daryl farmed with his dad and family until he moved to Lemmon where he worked at a grocery store as a baker and various other jobs in the store. In March of 1991, he started work in Bowman at Miller Construction where he worked for his cousin and along side his other cousin Darren, whom he grew very close to.

He met his future wife in Lemmon in March of 1991. They dated for 9 years before they united in marriage in October of 2000.

In 1996, Daryl and Keri moved back to the farm and worked very hard until the time of his death. He loved his John Deere. "Nothing runs like a deere." He liked going to derbie's and being with friends. He loved to chat. He loved to wheel and deal for his machinery. When he wasn't farming outside, he spent countless hours on the computer playing his John Deere game. In 2002, he was injured in a electrocution and hurt his back from a fall. His nieces and nephews were always right there by his side to help in anyway. Daryl loved watching movies, listening to music, and going to auction sales. He loved to spend time with his nieces, nephews, all his family and friends.

Daryl passed from this life on July 14, in a farm accident north of New Leipzig.

Keeping him in their fondest memories are his wife, Keri, New Leipzig; and pets Bubba and JoJo; his parents, LeRoy and Phyllis Baesler, New Leipzig; 3 sisters and brothers-in-law, Shelly Zimmerman-Tatro and Dave Tatro; Elgin, ND; Lana and Robert Romano, Ithica, NY; Linda and Butch Koepplin, Elgin; his nieces and nephews, Mason, 21; Tabitha, 19; Jacob, 12; Elesha, 10; Dillon, 6; Michelle, 6; his mother and father-in-law, Brian and Darlene Hopfinger, Lemmon, SD; and brother-in-law, Brent Hopfinger, Minot, ND.
