Belva Darlene Milner Price "Dar", to her many friends, was born on July 8, 1928 to Harley and Belva (Young) Milner, in Perkins County, SD.  She was one of seven children.  On July 24, 1947 she was united in marriage to William Richard Price at the Spencer Memorial Presbyterian Church in Lemmon, SD.

Darlene and Dick had four daughters, Nancy Thoene, Judy (Bob) Manzer, Diane (Howard) Wiesinger and Virginia (Jim) Gochenhour.  The couple lived on the Price home place until 1954 when they moved to the Harbeson-McCaffrey Ranch on Rabbit Creek.

Darlene worked the ranch with her husband, Dick, until his death in 2004.  She was a wonderful mother.  Her many talents included sewing, yodeling, gardening, cooking, drawing, writing her book and writing poetry.  She loved to attend church and while still on her ranch, her weekly trips to town to get her hair done.

Darlene is survived by her sister, Delores Seim; daughters, Judy, Diane, Virginia; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Darlene will be greatly loved and missed by all who knew her.
