Mass of Christian Burial for Corey Michael Helfrich, 30, of Dickinson, ND will be Thursday, May 4, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Hettinger, ND. Fr. Chad Gion will officiate and burial will follow at the Hettinger Cemetery. Visitations will be from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, at the Evanson Jensen Funeral Home in Hettinger, ND and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday morning. A time of sharing with the family will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Evanson Jensen Funeral Home in Hettinger on Wednesday evening.

COREY MICHAEL HELFRICH was born on April 30th, 1975 to Gary Helfrich and Debbie (Kirschmann) Robertson at Hettinger, ND. He graduated from New England High School in 1994. Since 1993, Corey had been employed with K & K Manufacturing in New England, ND, where he was a loyal, dependable and hardworking employee. Corey was an active Eagles member in Dickinson and he enjoyed helping with their fundraisers throughout the years. He loved to go hunting with family and friends, watching NASCAR and his beloved New York Yankees and the New York Jets. Corey enjoyed getting together with friends and working on cars and trucks, but his true passion in his life were his three girls, who will greatly miss him. Corey was known for his joking and happy personality, his wonderful "bear" hugs and his willingness to always help out in a moments notice.

Corey passed from this life on April 29, 2006 in Dickinson, ND. Holding his memory near their hearts are his children, Vanessa and Destiney Helfrich, of Dickinson, his fiancé, Ashley Kremer and her daughter, Kailey, of Dickinson; his father, Gary Helfrich and wife Violet, of Hettinger, ND; his mother, Debbie Robertson, of Bismarck, ND; sisters and brothers-in-law, Wendy and Randy Holler and Cheryl and Nolan Dix, all of Hettinger, ND; step-sister, Brandy Beckman, of Hettinger; step-brother, Walter Helfrich and fiancé Tanya Ehlers, of Fargo, ND; ½ sister and brother-in-law, Angel and Bernie Gossel, of Hettinger; step-grandmother, Augusta Wipf, of Hettinger; nieces, Whitney, Marissa and Gabrielle; nephews, Jacob, Joshua and Hayden and numerous other family members and many friends.

Preceding Corey in death were his grandparents, Arthur and Magdalena Helfrich and Theobold and Martha Kirschmann.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established by the family.
