Clifford E. Koehler, age 91, of Glen Ullin, ND, entered into eternal peace on Friday, July 10, 2020 at the Marian Manor Nursing Home in Glen Ullin.

A private family Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 10:00 am MT at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Elgin, ND with Pastor Deb Cantrell officiating.  Per Clifford's wishes, cremation will take place after the funeral and the family will have a private burial service at a later date.

Clifford was born in Morton County, ND on February 26, 1929; he was the only child of August and Emilia (Hintz) Koehler.  Clifford was raised on the family farm south of Glen Ullin in Grant County.

He married Corrine Rekow on July 12, 1952 in Elgin, ND.  Together they farmed, ranched, and raised their four children on the family farm.

Clifford started a house moving business, as a result of the construction of the Heart Butte Dam.  He was known for his hard work and dedication to doing a good job for any building he moved.  He fulfilled his lifelong dream of owning and driving a semi-truck, which he enjoyed for 25 years.

He enjoyed hunting in his youth, and was a lifelong fisherman.  Clifford and Corrine retired to the city of Glen Ullin in 2002.

He is survived by his children; Jerome (Sheila) Koehler, Daphne (Bruce) Horton, Ronald Koehler, Clayton (Lynnae) Koehler, 8 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Clifford was preceded in death by his wife, Corrine, after 61 years of marriage; his daughter-in-law Barbara (Morin) Koehler, and his parents.
