Catherine Mae Krischen's Obituary
Catherine M. Krischen, age 95 of Hettinger, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2014 a the West River Regional Medical Center in Hettinger.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hettinger Cemetery. Rev. Kathleen Dettmann will officiate. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Centennial Chapel of Evanson Jensen Funeral Home in Hettinger.
Catherine Mae Alsager was born on February 24, 1919 in Bison, SD. She attended local country school, then graduated from Bison High School.
Catherine married Alex Krischen on July 7, 1945 in Baker, MT. They farmed and ranched together for many years near Bison, SD.
She is survived by her two children, Neil Krischen and Linda Howey, four grandchildren, Pam (Bob) Reder, Todd (Melissa) Schick, Brad Schick and Neil Krischen, Jr. and five great grandchildren, Dawna Hanson, Dean Hanson, Skyler Schick, Ella Mae Schick and Iggy Schick.
