Catherine enjoyed her children and would put on many holiday dinners for the family and loved spending time with them playing cards. She enjoyed many trips that she took with her children.
She enjoyed the days sitting on her porch visiting with neighbors visiting about gardening and life. She loved making chocolate zucchini bread, banana bread and pies sharing it with the community. Catherine was very active in the community from working at the theatre making popcorn to working at the senior center cooking for the people that would come into eat. She loved visiting with people and you would find her always ready to play cards with anyone that was around.
Catherine was a member of the North Star Homemakers, TOPS Club, and a honorary member of the Mandan Senior Citizen. She loved gardening, going to Prairie Knights, cross stitching and just being around people. She would light up a room with her smile. She lived out on the farm where she enjoyed her animals. She moved to Mott in 2007 where she resided until May 2022 when she entered the Mott Nursing Home. After the Mott Nursing Home closed, she moved to the Sunset Prospera in Mandan where she resided until she passed away on March 9, 2024. Mom enjoyed her time at Prospera, but she loved when her LaDonna would come and get her and take her down to the Mandan Senior Center where she met some amazing people and could play cards.
