Carroll M. VanTomme age 64 of Belle Fourche, died Friday September 7th at her home in Belle Fourche.

The funeral service will be held 1pm Wednesday at Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche, with Rev. Gail Arnold officiating. There will be no visitation. Interment will be held in the Pine Slope Cemetery, Belle Fourche.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

Carroll Marvel Rusher was born December 27, 1942 in Des Moines, Iowa. She was the daughter of Lester and Addie (Wade) Rusher. Carroll grew up and attended school in Des Moines, Iowa and lived there for many years. In 1990 she moved with her family to South Dakota where she lived in Faith, and Newell. For the past four years she has lived in Belle Fourche.

Carroll enjoyed arts and crafts, and puzzle making. She collected angels, and she loved her four dogs. She also loved her grandchildren very much and it was always a great day when they would come to visit.

Carroll is survived by her children, Regina (David) Tobar of Sturgis, Tawnya (Jeff) Schuman of Des Moines, Iowa; and Tommy VanTomme of Washington; 4 grandchildren, Brittany, and Byren Tobar, Trevar Seibert and Payton Schuman. She is also survived by her brother, Charles (Mary) Rusher of Independence MO, and 3 aunts.
