Cari Skelton, 52, of Mott, North Dakota, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 15, 2025. Cari was born in Williston, ND to Leona and Glen Skelton on September 23, 1972. She was oldest of three children.  Cari graduated from Oak Park High School in Kansas City, MO.

She worked in health care for over 20 years and impacted her patients with a profound presence in their lives. She worked in retirement centers in Mott and Bismarck.

She is preceded in death by her father Glen Skelton, grandparents Birdie and Edgar Zemliska and Harold and Lottie Skelton, numerous great aunts and uncles and cousin Kelly Skelton.

Carolyn is survived by her son Ethan, mother Leona, Step-Dad Bob, and two brothers Michael Skelton (Rachel) and Matthew Skelton. In addition, she is survived by nieces Nicole (Riley), Samantha (Dane), and Annika and her nephew Matthew and one great nephew, Jasper. She is also survived by step-sisters Bobbi Jo (Joe), Amy (Clark), Kari Leigh (Dustin), and Meaghan (Chris) and her aunt Laura (Joe), Loraine and Marilyn (Roy) and numerous cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held in Elgin, ND, in the of summer 2026.
