Caroline Steiner, age 87 of Mott, died September 10, 2010 at her home north of Mott.


The Mass of Christian Burial for Caroline Steiner, age 87 of Mott, will be held at 10:30am MT, Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at St. Vincent's Catholic Church in Mott. Fr. Charles Zins will officiate with burial in Sunnyslope Cemetery at Mott.


The Rosary Service will be held at 7:00pm MT on Tuesday evening, September 14, 2010 at St. Vincent's Catholic Church.


Caroline was born to Jacob and Rosa (Hockstein) Kuntz on their farm north of Regent, ND on April 5, 1923. Caroline attended school at Notiedome High School in Mitchell, SD. She married Tony Steiner on October 8, 1946 in a double wedding of two brothers and two sisters at St. Michael's Mission Church north of Regent. They raised 8 children on their farm north of Mott. Caroline was a member of the altar society and the CDA at St. Vincent's Church. Caroline was a Lady of Faith who had a deep adoration for the Lord and her family.


Caroline is survived by her husband, Tony, seven children, Jim, Belle Fourche, SD; Ray of Belle Fourche, SD; David of Mott, ND; Howard of Aurora, CO; Mary Heidecker, Belle Fourche, SD; Eileen Golian, Columbia, MD; Gary of Baldwin, ND; 19 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.


Caroline is survived by her brothers, Mike Kuntz, Hardin, MT; Val Kuntz, Belgrade, MT; and by sisters, Rosie Dukart, Dickinson, ND; Frieda Wilson, Bismarck, ND, Thelma Klein, Spokane, WA; Teddy Herner, Wilton, ND; and Agnes Regnaud, Spring Hills, FL.


She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son, Douglas A. Steiner on August 24, 2010; 2 sisters, Sister Mary Noel Kuntz, Betty Steiner, and 1 brother, Sam Kuntz.

Visitation will be Tuesday, 1:00 to 6:00pm at the Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home in Mott and on Wednesday one hour prior to services at St. Vincent's Catholic Church.
