Funeral services for Calvin Mistelski, age 94, of rural Morristown, SD, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 1, 2019 at the Prince of Peace Chapel of the Evanson Jensen Funeral Home in Lemmon.  Pastor Tottie Lenerville will officiate with burial to be held at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Monday at the Morristown Cemetery near Morristown, SD.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by a family service at 7:00 all on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at the Evanson Jensen Funeral Home in Lemmon.

Calvin Lyle Mistelski was born northeast of Thunderhawk, SD on May 7, 1924 to Henry and Clara Mistelski. He graduated from Morristown, SD. He married Neva Schiley on December 6, 1947. They farmed at Keldron SD and in 1959 purchased a farm 13 miles north of Morristown. Calvin suffered a stroke on March 27, 2016. He died at the family farm 13 miles north of Morristown on March 28, 2019.

Grateful for sharing his life are his wife Neva, three Children: Donald (Debra) Mistelski Morristown SD, Denise (Ken) Bachmann Elizabeth, CO, Deanne (Dave) Skinner, Billings, MT; grandchildren: Jeff, Doug, Ryan, Robin Mistelski, Michele Dutcher, Melissa Thibault, Kendra Bachmann, Crystal & Bradley Skinner; and great grandchildren: Chance, Mikayla, Jaiden, Josh, Ashlee, Kelcie, Kylar & Bodey Mistelski, Brenna, Ava & Claire Dutcher, Maggie Thiede, Paige Thibault, Emmie & Gage Skinner.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Henry & Clara Mistelski; sisters, Rachel Miller, Bernice Lanfear, Henrietta Wilson and Eva Cochran and one brother, Lawrence Mistelski.
