Beverly (Eastman) Diehl, age 93 of Carson, ND passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Jacobson Memorial Care Center in Elgin, ND.

Funeral services for Beverly will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Carson, ND, starting with the Rosary at 10:00 am MT, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am MT.  Fr. Dennis Schafer will officiate with burial in Emmaus Congregational Cemetery, Carson.

The Rosary and Mass will be livestreamed here on her obituary page on this website, starting at 9:50 a.m. MT on Friday.

Visitations will be on Thursday, May 20th from 5:00 - 7:00pm at the Evanson Jensen Funeral Home in Elgin, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday morning.

Beverly Imogene Eastman was born on June 19, 1927 to Charles and Alma (Melby) Eastman in Grant County, ND.  She grew up and attended school in New Leipzig and Carson, graduating from St. Mary's Central High School in Bismarck, ND.

Beverly married Ervin Diehl on March 28, 1946 in Carson while he was on leave from the Navy and she was teaching school.  They made their home on a farm NW of Carson, raising their family of 4 boys Roger, Dean, Chuck, and Jim.

She was a wonderful cook making German foods that her boys loved to eat.  Her grandchildren were the light of her life.  Beverly had a smile for everyone.

She is survived by her 4 sons Roger (Concha), Billings, MT; Dean (Cindy), Carson, ND; Chuck (Brenda), Winterset, Iowa; Jim (Carmen), Upton, WY; half-brother David Eastman, Casper, WY; 18 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren, and 2 special grandchildren; sisters-in-law Viola Schock, and Margie Diehl, both Bismarck, ND.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ervin, brother Frank, sister Juanita, 3 grandsons Chris Diehl, Chris Rivera, and Don Diehl, granddaughter Mikala Jordan, brother-in-law Melvin Diehl, and sister-in-law Wilma Robidou.

Beverly died on May 16 ^th , which is 13 years to the day after Ervin died.
