Service of Remembrance for Beverly Burwick, age 64, of Phoenix, AZ formerly of Mott, ND will be held at 11:00 a.m. MT, Saturday, June 2, 2012 at St. Vincent's Catholic Church Mott, ND. Fr. Charles Zins will officiate with burial in the Sunnyslope Cemetery in Mott


Beverly "Bev" was born on June 3, 1947 in Bismarck, ND to Mike and Emmie (Fries) Lutz. She grew up in Mott, ND with her three sisters and one brother. Bev attended St. Vincent Catholic School in Mott, one year at the Priory of Bismarck and graduate from Mott Lincoln High School in 1966. She attended two years of college at Dickinson State College, Dickinson, ND.


On November 30, 1979, Beverly married her high school sweetheart, Thomas "Tom" Burwick of Mott, ND. They made Mott their home for 10 years and raised four children, Stephanie, Steven, Erick and Paul. In 1989 they moved their family to Phoenix, AZ and have resided there for the past 22 years.


Beverly spent seven years working for JC Penny and eleven years with Albertsons. Beverly was always active in church and various volunteer activities, such as "Legion of Mary", teaching religion classes at her church, and helped with caring for children through M.O.P.S.


Beverly loved her family greatly and enjoyed having everyone over for big dinner parties. She loved playing cards, caring for and spending time with her children and grandchildren, going out to lunch and visiting with family and friends.


Bev passed away on March 19, 2012 at the Hospice of the Valley in Scottsdale, AZ.


Grateful for having shared in Bev's life are her husband of 32 years, Thomas "Tom" Burwick; daughter, Stephanie (Marc) Bonner; sons, Steven (Sandra) Holler, Erik (Katherine) Holler and Paul (Nicole) Burwick; ten grandchildren, Ashlyn, Matthew and Jacob Bonner, Seth Luke and Joel Holler, Addison, Kaitlyn and Emily Holler and Olivia Burwick, Phoenix, AZ; mother, Emmie Lutz, Mott, ND; sister, Norita Roll, Mott, ND, Joyce (Frank) Banyai, Bismarck, ND and Mary (Bud) Friedli, Austin, TX; brother, Charlie (Jean) Lutz, Mandan, ND; mother-in-law, Lois Burwick, Dickinson, ND; sisters-in-law, Normie (Darrel) Auer, Dickinson, ND, Lacey (Kevin) Niceswanger, Grand Forks, ND, Kelley (Nick) Powers, Olympia, WA; and brother-in-law, Tim Burwick, Bismarck, ND; and numerous nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by her father, Mike Lutz; brothers-in-law, Sebastian Roll and Jason Burwick; nephew, Michael Roll; niece, Jessica Lutz; father-in-law, Vernon "Red" Burwick and grandparents, Jake and Katie Fries.
