Bernice Heinle's Obituary
Funeral services for Bernice Heinle, age 78, of Mott, ND will be at 10:00 a.m. MT on Friday, October 29, 2010 at the Zoar Congregational Church in Mott.
Pastor Corey Warner will officiate with burial on Monday, November 1 at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Mandan.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 28 at the Evanson Jensen Funeral Home in Mott.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday evening at the Evanson Jensen Funeral Home in Mott.
Bernice A. Friesz was born June 21, 1932 on a farm near New Leipzig, ND to August and Ruth (Kallis) Friesz. She attended a rural school near Odessa.
On September 8, 1950, she married Gary Heinle of Burt, ND where theyv'e resided, raised their family and farmed since their marriage.
Bernice's greatest love was her family. Any holiday, camping, fishing or just spending a weekend at the farm with everyone together in her little house filled her with joy. (And there was always logs of strudels to feast on, which Lori learned she will be continuing on as needed.)
Gary and Bernice recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on the farm with all of their family and friends present.
After a courageous battle with cancer, Bernice (Friesz) Heinle went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 26, 2010.
Grateful for having shared her life are her husband Gary Heinle, Burt, ND; two sons, Dale (Linda) Heinle, Williston, ND, Neil (Francine) Heinle, Bismarck, ND; one daughter, Lori (Pat) O'Brien, Mandan, ND; one brother, Vernon (Sylvia) Friesz, New Leipzig, ND; five grandchildren, Heather (Rod) Miller, Dickinson,ND, Jaylia (Jon) Prussing, Bismarck, ND, Jenna (Colt) Jacobson, Bismarck, ND, Trent O'Brien and Logan O' Brien, Mandan, ND; two great grandchildren, Kane Miller and Raith Miller of Dickinson; special niece Patricia (Al) Kindt, Mott, ND; and special friend, Ruby Dietz of New Leipzig, ND.
Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, August and Ruth Friesz and three infant siblings.
She will be greatly missed by all of us who loved her.
