Arthur Clifford "Artie" Hayes  Belle Fourche, SD

Service of Remembrance for Arthur C. "Artie" Hayes, 54, of Belle Fourche, SD will be Monday, January 31, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at the Christian Life Center, 2020 Vista Street, Belle Fourche, SD. Pastor Paul Howard will officiate and burial will follow at Pine Slope Cemetery in Belle Fourche. Visitations will be from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, January 30, 2005 at the Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche.

ARTHUR CLIFFORD "Artie" HAYES was born on November 7, 1950 in Denver, CO to Milton and Arlene (Myers) Hayes. Art came to the Spearfish, SD to help his father remodel a house and he loved the Black Hills so much that he never went back to Colorado. Art loved to go fishing, hunting and camping out. He would spend most of his time at the lake - Orman Dam with many friends. He enjoyed playing pool and cards with friends, liked to play golf, dominoes, pitch horseshoes and throw darts. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and will be missed by all who knew him.

Artie Hayes passed from this life at the Rapid City Regional Hospital on Wednesday evening, January 26, 2005.

Grateful for having shared his life are his parents, Milton and Arlene Hayes, of Belle Fourche; sister, Ginger Lowry, Arvada, CO; brother, Mel (Donna) Hayes, of Lakewood, CO; sister, Reba (Dennis) Knuckles and their children, Amy Aspen and Leslie Cocha, Spearfish, SD; grandmother, Ruth Ann Mitchell, of Boulder City, NV; niece, Christi McNulty and her daughters, Catelyn and Erin, of Arvada, CO; nephew Paul (Courtney) Willner and their children, Aidan, Rominey and Landon, of Destin, FL; his dog and beloved best friend "Boots" and numerous other relatives and many friends.
