Arlene M. Moe, age 83 of Regent, passed from this life on Monday morning, March 12, 2018 at the Mott Good Samaritan Society.

The Funeral Service for Arlene will be held at 1:00pm MDT on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Faith Lutheran Church in Regent with Rev. Dotty Parfrey officiating.  Burial will be at 12:00 pm CDT on Monday, March 19, 2018 at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery south of Mandan, ND.

Special music for the service will be provided by Pat Schwartz.

Serving as casketbearers are McKenzie Moe, Haley Moe, Austin Malnar, and Micaela Cano.

ARLENE MARIE SPERLE was born on March 7, 1935 in Bison, SD to Albert and Martha (Kolb) Sperle.  She attended school in Bison graduating from Bison High School.  Arlene attended Black Hills College and earned a teaching certificate.  She taught in a rural school north of Bison and later in Bison.

She married Norman Moe on March 8, 1957 at Lemmon, SD.  Arlene worked for the City of Hettinger as a bookkeeper for 31 years.  She was a woman of faith and a faithful church member. The Moe's lived in Hettinger before moving to the farm and eventually to Regent.

Surviving are her husband, Norman, Regent, ND; son, Thomas Moe, Barnesville, MN; daughters, Tami (Brian) Malnar, Boise, ID; Terryl Moe, Phoenix, AZ, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, sisters, Renee (Lowell) Haggart, Lemmon, SD; Anne Jacobson, Springfield, OR; sister-in-law, Mel Sperle, Cortez, CO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Robert and Herbert, 1 sister, Betty Hay.

Visitation will be on Saturday from 1:00 to 7:00pm at the Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home in Mott.

A memorial has been established to the Faith Lutheran Church.
