Antonia "Toni" Reavis, 81, of New England, ND passed away at the West River Regional Medical Center in Hettinger, ND early Wednesday morning, March 26, 2008.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New England, ND at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2008. Following a lunch with the family at the church, the burial will be at the Regent Cemetery near Regent, ND. A Vigil/Wake service will be at 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening at the church in New England.

ANTONIA AGNES JACOBS was born on November 2, 1926 near Regent, ND to Jake and Violet (Davison) Jacobs. She received her education as St. Mary's School in New England, ND.


In her early twenties she moved to Portland, OR to seek employment. Toni married Donald Reavis in Portland in 1961 and together they raised his three children. Don passed away in the early 1980's and Toni returned to North Dakota in 1989, living in Dickinson, ND for a few years and then she moved to New England for the last ten years.


Toni enjoyed crocheting, reading, singing, doing crossword puzzles and was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in New England


She is survived by her step-daughter, Laura ("Jake") Jacob, Portland, OR; three sisters, Irene Gion, Regent, ND, Francis Wilhelm and Quirina Schmidt, both of Bismarck, ND; five brothers, Jerry (Lucy) Jacobs, Regent, ND, Walter (Luella) Jacobs, New England, ND, Leonard (Carol) Jacobs, of Reeder, ND, Roy Jacobs and Alton (Leona) Jacobs, all of Dickinson, ND and numerous nieces and nephews.

Toni was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald Reavis, two step-sons, one sister and one brother.
