Mass of Christian Burial for Amelia R. Braun, 94, of Sauk Rapids, MN, will be 10AM Wednesday March 15, 2006 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sauk Rapids. Amelia died Saturday at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Sauk Rapids. The Rev. Ronald Weyrens will officiate. Friends may call from 4-8PM Tuesday at the Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids and 1 hour prior to services Wednesday at the church in Sauk Rapids. There will also be visitation on Friday March 17, 2006 from 9-10AM at Evanson Jensen Funeral Home in Lemmon, SD. Burial will be at 10:30AM in Greenhill Cemetery in Lemmon.

Amelia was born October 13, 1911 in White Butte, SD to Mike & Mathilda (Heck) Heil. She married Steve Braun on June 18, 1934 in White Butte, SD. The couple lived in Waite Park and moved to Rice in 1980. Amelia moved to Sauk Rapids in 1989 after Steve passed away on (January 14, 1989). She is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sauk Rapids, also a member of the Sacred Heart Christian Mothers, Waite Park and Sauk Rapids Senior Citizens.

Survivors include her children, Eugene of Las Vegas, NV; Ilene (Jim) Duncan of Lemmon, SD; Donald (Betty) of Moorhead; Anna Marie (Lynn) Runnels of Fredrick, WI; Rita (Jerome) Shaffer of Milwaukee, WI; Kathleen (Carl) Seitz of Las Vegas; 16 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Steve, daughters, Charlene Braun, Patricia Randash, brothers, Joe, Ralph, and Frank Heil, sisters, Pauline Gossmann, Eleanor Bialon, and Anna Heil.

Pallbearers will be Steve Duncan, Mike Shaffer, Kent Randash, Peter, Steve, and Larry Runnels, Bruce Carver, and Donald Reiger.
