Allen C. Kohl, age 92 of Elgin, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck, ND.

Services will be held at 10:30 am MT Monday, July 18, at Hope Conservative Congregational Church, Elgin, ND. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be held at 12:00 noon CT am Tuesday, July 19, at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery , Mandan , ND.

Allen was born March 27, 1930 to Alex and Esther(Finck) Kohl in Elgin, ND. He grew up and lived his entire life in Elgin. He served in Korea during the Korean Conflict. He returned to Elgin and married Lois Knoke on September 11, 1953. He started his electrical business, Kohl Electric which he operated until his retirement.

Allen is survived be his wife Lois, his sons Bruce(Carla), Craig, Todd(Marla), his grandchildren Shannon, Bryan(Adrianne), Alex, and Maggie, his great grandchildren Justin, Penelope, and Hazel, his half sister Opal Zak, and his sister-in-law Ilene.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law William Knoke, and his mother-in-law Ella(Schmidt) Knoke; brothers Leroy, Myron, and sister Inez.

Allen put all his faith, hope, and trust in Jesus Christ. His desire would be that you do the same.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church on Monday.
