Life was not easy growing up on the farm. Albert lost his mother at an early age. He attended school about one mile from the farm house. Albert married Hilda Netzer on January 14th, 1956. They farmed together until they retired. At that time Albert and Hilda did some traveling and Albert then started his hobby of wood working, which he enjoyed. Albert was known as a great visitor; enjoying coffee or just visiting with his friends. Albert was a big part in the lives of his many nieces and nephews. He attended their many church and school programs, as well as the special occasions in their lives. Albert was a very special person who always had a smile for you and could make you smile.
