Aileen Treichel, age 86, of Mott, ND, passed away on Wednesday evening, February 5, 2020 at the Good Samaritan Society in Mott, ND.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. February 10, 2020 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Elgin, ND.  Rev. Nathan Laska will officiate with burial in the Sunnyslope Cemetery at Mott, ND.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at the Evanson Jensen Funeral Home in Mott, ND.

AILEEN FAYE KELSCH was born in Mott, ND on March 25, 1933 to Frank and Esther (Gross) Kelsch.  She was raised on the family farm south of Bentley, attended grade school in Bentley, and graduated from New Leipzig High School in 1951.

She married Wilburt Heyd on September 4, 1955 at Mott.  They were blessed with one daughter, Lori.  Wilburt passed away in 1963.

Aileen married Wilmer Treichel on November 6, 1964 and they lived in Bentley until moving into Mott in 2006.

Aileen passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at the Good Samaritan Society Nursing Home in Mott after a brief battle with cancer.

She is survived by her husband, Wilmer; daughter, Lori (Trent) Eggers; grandson, Tyler Eggers; sister, Janice Kelsch; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband; her parents; sister, Karen Guenther; and brothers, Ronald and Arlyn Kelsch.
