Mass of Christian Burial for Aiden Martin, 12, of Carson, ND will be Friday, June 8, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. MT at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Carson, ND.  Fr. Dennis Schafer will officiate and burial will follow at the Carson Community Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., followed by a Rosary/Vigil, all at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Carson on Thursday, June 7.

Aiden Bruce Blaine Martin, 12, Carson, joined the Lord on June 1, 2018 from a drowning accident in Carson, ND.

Aiden was born March 9, 2006 in Anchorage, Alaska.  He attended Aquarian Charter School and College Gate Elementary in Anchorage.

Aiden blessed our family in August 2008, as a foster child, choosing our family to be his forever family April 27, 2011, gaining two older sisters who loved him with all their hearts.  Aiden loved to be a foster brother to all that joined our home.  At one time he was the only foster child at the house so he called OCS and told them our house was empty and he would like them to send him some more friends.  He got his wish.  Not only did more children come and go, but Aiden gained two forever brothers, Cole Alan Todd and Carson Lee in August 2016.

In August 2016 Aiden, along with his family moved to Carson, ND.  He attended Roosevelt Public School.  He truly enjoyed the small-town living, getting to know all his cousins, aunts, uncles, and all the other relatives.  He made a lot of friends and always had a smile and hug to give.

Aiden was a member of the St. Theresa's Catholic Church, where he was baptized, received his First Holy Communion and served as an Altar Server.

Aiden enjoyed spending time with his dad learning how to use power tools and cooking.  He approached each day as a new adventure.  He enjoyed riding his dirt bike with his brothers and friends, playing football at school, playing video games and loved to help at brandings.

Aiden will be missed by so many.  He is survived by his parents, Marty and Tracy Martin, sisters Samantha Jo (Chris), and Jordan Renee (Ben), brothers Cole Alan Todd and Carson Lee, uncles and aunts Keith Alan Laub, Kevin Lee Laub (Margie), Greg Todd Laub (Stacey), Joseph Martin (Jean), Lonnie Martin (Wes), Anna Kempel (Keith), grandmother Raye, and many great uncles, great aunts, and cousins.

Aiden was preceded in death by his uncle Bruce Blaine Laub and grandparents LeRoy and Anna Martin, Jerry and Darlene Gammell, and Stanley Laub.

Although Aiden is no longer with us, he will live on in others.  In keeping with Aiden's loving and generous spirit, it was his decision to donate life so that others may live.
