A precious little Angel arrived in Heaven on July 31, 2007. Aidan Tell Ford, son of Nathan and Tracy Ford, of Sturgis, SD, passed away at the Sanford Children's Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. The year and 18 days they got to spend with Aidan will forever be in their hearts and the hearts of all who knew him.


Service of Remembrance will be on Saturday, August 4, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Calvary Lutheran Church in Lemmon, SD. Rev. Ken Miller, Aidan's Minister who baptized him, will officiate and burial will follow at the Greenhill Cemetery in Lemmon.


Aidan Tell Ford was born on July 13, 2006 at Spearfish, SD. His proud parents, Nathan and Tracy cherished the gift of Aidan into their lives. Aidan was blessed to be cared for at home by his Mom and Dad, while he was growing in Sturgis. His favorite stuffed animals were Eeyore and a brown and white bulldog. Aidan was a happy and healthy boy, who loved to be with those who loved him. His big blue eyes, his grin and his giggle will never be forgotten. The precious memories he has given his family are being held close to their hearts.


Shortly after his first birthday, at his scheduled doctor's appointment, the doctors discovered that Aidan had a collapsed lung. To get the best care possible, he was taken to Sioux Falls, SD, where it seemed that he was getting better. Complications set in and before taking him to Iowa City, Iowa, while sedating him for the trip, his little heart stopped beating. As quickly as the first year of his life passed by for all of those who loved him, he left this world as quickly. Even during all of this, Aidan was very strong for a little guy and never cried. Just as in the first year of his life, he was hardly fussy, at all.


Those holding his memory most near and dear to their hearts are his parents, Nathan and Tracy Ford, Sturgis, SD; sister, Ashley Marie Sorenson, Vermillion, SD; grandparents, Ron and Charolotte Ford, Lemmon, SD and Vickie and Tucker Kane, Thunder Hawk, SD; Uncles, Jeb Ford, Sioux Falls, SD and Todd Wolf, Lemmon; Aunts, Kristi (John) Wagendorf and VeRene (Bob) Potter, all of Lemmon; cousins, Dirk and Dylan Wolf, Lemmon and Cassie Ford, Tea, SD; his Godparents, Somar and Jack Hahne, of Newcastle, WY and numerous great aunts and great uncles. Preceding Aidan in death were his grandmother, Joan Pudwill and grandfather, Marvin Wolf, great grandparents, Dorothy and Herman Frerking, Ray and Lillian Ford, Rose and Gene Ericsson and Art and Mary Wolf.
