Adeline Pauline Zenker was born on October 4, 1927 on the family farm near Teepee Butte to John and Katie (Wolf) Zenker. Her father died when she was 14, so she and her siblings had to help with all the farm chores, everything from milking cows to working in the corn fields and vegetable garden.

Adeline married Edward Kirschmann on June 26, 1949. They moved to the Kirschmann homestead and farmed until 2000. To this union four children were born, Bonita, a baby boy that died after birth, Rodney and Richie.

She was known for her cleanliness. It didn't stop with her house, she always had the farm equipment washed and polished, the shop swept and in order and the yard was groomed. She was always ready for company with baked goodies and hot coffee.

Adeline belonged to a homemakers club for many years; it was something she really enjoyed. She helped at her church whenever help was needed. She cleaned, painted, cooked and baked for fund raisers and taught Sunday school.

She enjoyed having her children around and her eyes would light up when her
grandchildren and great
grandchildren would walk into the room.

Adeline passed away at the Good Samaritan Nursing Center in Mott, N.D. on Saturday, March 17, 2012.

Grateful for having shared in Adeline's life are her children, Bonita (Howard) Bolte, Billings Mt.
